What will you do at Huisman?
As a Technical Writer at Huisman, you are part of an international, highly skilled team. You create technical documentation for a wide range of onshore and offshore equipment. Your role is to translate complex technological solutions, developed by the engineers, into clear and concise content for our customers.
For our innovative projects, your tasks include gathering test data, writing test documentation, and releasing it to our clients. Throughout this process, you work closely together with the engineers and I,C&T coordinators involved, to discuss, define, and set up the test scope and content. You may be present during factory or site testing to verify procedures, collect updates, and ensure the documentation reflects actual system performance.
In addition, you are responsible for delivering high‑quality manuals used by our clients. These manuals explain how to operate and maintain the equipment in the most effective way and are often enriched with eye‑catching 3D figures.
Huisman offers many opportunities to grow your career, deepen your technical expertise, and use your strengths. Alongside contributing to innovative projects, you will receive an excellent compensation package and enjoy social activities.
